Weevillania is a world not so very different from ours. It exists far from here and long forgotten from memory. At the centre of Weevillania sits a small town; Weevilltown. The town began when Agatha Weevil and Eartha Ermis started a settlement around a great monolith; the furrowstone, which sits like a sleeping giant in the town square.
Weevilltown quickly became one of the liveliest and brightest places in all the worlds. There were emporiums filled with shimmering trinkets and hand-crafted wicker animals. There were markets filled with colourful spices and sweet-smelling teas and workshops that built vehicles that could slip out of sight in a flash. When the sun set on Weevilltown its inhabitants came alive. They would gather with lanterns around the furrowstone to tell stories of their day, but the best story tellers were those with wild imaginations. These storytellers could conjure images of giant beasts or yawning mountains and everyone would lean in when they began a tale.

After some time, they formed an agency so that these stories could be collected and stored. This agency soon became the talk of the town. In the dead of night strange clanking sounds and a whirring whistle could be heard coming from the agency headquarters and rumours abound that they had invented a machine that could detect true imagination.
